As anticipated, Balena was de-lish! Way better than the former Landmark [cough, cough]. Sunday, we celebrated the birth of one of my favorite gals and, one too many beers later, ended the evening with a memorial view of our beautiful city.

It's a packed weekend folks. We started with the Sox/Indians game [first game of the season] with friends and then headed to the David Guetta concert. We are heading to Balena tonight for a birthday dinner- So pumped to try it!

I'm a very lucky girl- On Wednesday, my friend surprised me with this set of Stephanie Johnson make-up bags. And, what makes it event better is she found them at Costco! How cute?!

Last night, the BF and I concluded our evening with a little gelato and some people watching. Whispers Cafe, in the heart of the Viagra Triangle has the most delicious assortment of gelato flavors. We went with strawberry cheesecake, molto delizioso!

This past weekend we were in the lone star state for a somewhat last minute trip to Houston and Austin. Holy hot down there! Despite having to constantly wipe my sweaty upper lip [attractive, I know], we had an amazing time and I can't wait to plan my next visit to Austin.

rolling balls!

For the first time ever, our bowling team, ROLLING BALLS! was in the running for some major cash money. [Was...] But, last night's playoff game concluded our season and although I'm sad to see it go, my liver is probably quite grateful. It was a very memorable year that no one will remember, but we did have a few good games in there. My apartment building is pretty old, however, the vintage moldings and French doors are right up my alley. I love to decorate, but with limited space, a girl’s gotta get creative.
